Hop Kiln Winery
This sign was sandblasted out of clear heart, kiln dried redwood boards laminated together. Then we sandblasted out the background leaving all the copy raised. For extra dimension we applied 1/2″ thick acrylic HOP KILN copy over the already raised copy. Then we framed it in 2″ x 8″ stained redwood and mounted it to 3, not 2 stained redwood posts. Why did we do that? Because there are 3 towers on the building and we thought it was a nice touch to emulate that image on the sign.
